I've Been Gone for SO Long...

Hi All!  Oh my, I have been missing from blog land for SO long!  I have been keeping up

with all of you even though I have not been able to get it together, get a minute,

take a little time to put together a thoughtful post myself.  My creativity has been

"zapped" by all the things that life puts in your path.

But don't get  me wrong, they were all good, happy, joyous things that

got in my way!

My incredibly handsome son was confirmed/

I had been working weekly since January planning and heading up our annual 

fundraiser for our high school band.  I am very happy to say we raised over 

$11,000!  Best year ever!

My beautiful daughter graduated from college with high honors.  M husband 

and I are beyond words proud of her.

And I have been fitting in making new designs for the shoppe 

whenever I could

Our school year is not over yet so things are still hectic and

ongoing.  But I love keeping up with all of you and I hope

you'll stick with me here!  :)

What I Want Now...

I have been gone for a bit and it's be CRAZY!  My husband organized and ran a three day

hockey expo at our local ice rink and I worked it for three days straight.  It took me three days to catch up on everything here at home but now there are all kinds of things at school that are coming up for my son that I've volunteered for and my daughter is graduating from college, and....

wow, I need a break!  Actually, what I really want is to fulfill some of the things 

on MY "want to get done" list.

Let me just share a few of them with you.

I always enjoy picking out and planting my flowers every year.  

I'm looking forward to getting this started.

I LOVE rasberries!   I have never grown them and would love to that 

this year!

We have a beautiful stone patio and I have always wanted an

outdoor fireplace.  I would love for this to be the year!

I grow a little bit of lavender and have for a few years but I want 

to grow and abundance of french lavender to harvest, to enjoy and to

make sachets with all year long.

And lastly, we are getting all geared up for the start of summer and getting ready

to head up north to enjoy our lake home.  We have a great dock, nice and big

 but it looks nothing like this one.  I would LOVE for 

our dock to look as comfortable and inviting as this.  Can't you see yourself sitting here?

So those are some of the things I want now.  Some are doable and some will take awhile.  But I really need to start tending to some of the things on MY list for a change, don't you think?
