So Happy It Arrived...

Hi Everyone!  What can I say.  I have been away for a bit now due
to life's craziness.  So much going on, so much to do, and I
cannot juggle lots of stuff!  So blogging has suffered.  But I wanted to
catch up with all of you tonight and show you something that arrived
in the mail over the weekend.  A few weeks ago I won a giveaway from
a wonderful blogger with a beautiful blog.
She is Aina at Modern Country.
Her giveaway was the most amazing smelling sachet from
Mi~Septembre of Paris.

Aina included a little packet that she put together and a personal note
on her adorable snow flake stamped tag.

This is what she included:  two darling metal heart tags, some of her
fabric stitched labels and her card.  These will have a special place on my
inspiration board.

Thank you Aina!  And please go and check out her beautiful blog

Thanks everyone.
Have a happy week!!

An Easy Holiday DIY Project With Lots of Sparkle...

Happy Tuesday Everyone!  I hope you're having a great week so far
and that you're enjoying your holiday shopping and decorating.  I
finished with all my decorating this past weekend, including the tree.
I wanted to share with you an easy DIY project I came up with that I
am crazy about.  It all started when I saw this strand of faux pearls strung
on wire and I wanted to put them to use in a project.  So I decided to
wrap them around some two foot garden topiary frames that I had.

To add lots of sparkle and bling I hung vintage chandelier crystals
that I have had kicking around for awhile onto the wire.
I LOVE the way they turned out!

This was just so easy once you have all the materials.
Hope you enjoyed it.  If you have any new Christmas decor projects you
did this year I would love to see them.  Leave me a comment and will
stop by to check them out!

Enjoy your week!

What's On Your List...

I hope you all had a happy and safe Thanksgiving weekend.
As many of you know I have a 22 year old and an 18 year old.
I had asked both of them awhile back for their Christmas lists.
My daughter, the 22 year old, got hers to me fairly quickly.
My son is another story.  How do you get a teenage boy to complete this task?
For me it is so much easier to buy for my daughter than it is my son,
even if she had not given me a list.

So today a few more designs went up into the shoppe.
Cameos, crowns and lots of sparkle.

Have you started your list?

Many more designs to see here.

Have a lovely week!

When Busy is a Good Thing...

When I can't get to cleaning my house, or going to the grocery store,
when I keep making my old stand by dinners instead of trying
a new recipe, when I can't get to reading all my favorite blogs
let alone putting up a new post on my own blog,
when I literally don't leave the house for a few days
in a row and stay buried in my studio at my desk and computer,
it means I am insanely busy!  And sometimes I do think I'm going to
go insane!  I have been unstoppably busy making a 32 piece
jewelry order for the boutique here in town.
And I am insanely happy!!  This is the kind of busy that I welcome.
So I thought I would show you a few of the pieces that I will be
delivering to the boutique this week.  Lots of necklaces, earrings
and bracelets.

And this is a new line of vintage religious medal necklaces that
I have made.  All the pendants are wonderful old religious medals
that I have surrounded with gorgeous old rhinestones and hung from
vintage rosary beads and rosary centers.
I am in love with the collection!

For me, this is when busy is good.

Thank you for coming by.
Have a wonderful week!

Fresh Bling...

I am super excited today.  As many of you know I have several of my jewelry pieces
in a local high end boutique here.  And every Friday morning the owner goes on
the local morning show to do a fashion segment.  Today it was on accessories
and statement pieces.  Well some of my pieces were featured....given air time!
I am thrilled to say the least!  So THANK YOU to Faye and all the gals
at the boutique!

And just today I listed some new pieces in the shoppe.
It is that holiday time of year you know!

This gorgeous necklace has a vintage postcard image of the
eiffel tower surrounded with vintage rhinestones, hand carved
shell cameos, Paris souvenir bracelet links, mother of pearl
rosary beads and other vintage elements.

These perfectly simple earrings started with vintage paste
earring findings.  I added beautiful pink tourmaline briolettes
and faceted rhondelles.  I love these.

The pendant on this longer "charm" necklace is a vintage french cut steel shoe buckle.
I have attached old religious medals and a small fleur de lis jewelry finding.
The chain is made up of vintage watch fob links, old rosary beads,
rhinestone beads, sterling silver chain pieces and lots more.

Thanks everyone for visiting.  I always appreciate it
And I always love reading your comments so
do let me know you stopped by!

Have a wonderful weekend!

My Creativity is on a Roll....

I am on a creative roll right now.  With the holidays coming up quickly
I have been trying like mad to get all my design ideas realized
and then hope that it will translate into sales.
Here are some of the most recent items now in the shoppe.

A vintage french steel cut shoe buckle is now a gorgeous
bracelet.  I adorned it with an old
rhinestone brooch, glass pearls, chain and lots of
ooh-la-la!

The antiqued brass hammered cuff is adorned with an
old, sparkling vintage rhinestone brooch.  I love this piece!

The center piece of this necklace is an old cameo locket that I
made even more charming by adding a vintage postcard image of the
the Eiffel Tower.  The necklace has old rhinestone bracelet links,
black onyx and gorgeous faceted citrine gemstones.

These stunning earrings are vintage victorian filigrees
that I have accented with citrine and pink tourmaline briolettes.
I love the colors.

Beloved Notre Dame is the center piece of this one of a kind necklace.
I used a vintage postcard image and place it in an old brooch setting.
I hung it from a sterling silver winged cherub bust.  The necklace is an
assortment of freshwater pearls, aquamarine gemstones, amethyst and
rhinestone beads.  This is such a fun and versatile piece.

I love old shoe buckles!  This is another french cut steel vintage buckle
that I made sparkle with an old jewelry finding placed right in the center.
I added glass pearls, two old genuine shell cameos in their original settings and
sparkling tourmaline gemstones.  This is a gorgeous bracelet.

And I am now offering gift certificates in the shoppe for anyone
on your list.  And don't forget to put this down on your holiday list.
They are good an anything in my etsy shoppe.

Thanks for coming by and spending some time here.
Have a wonderful rest of your week and keep checking back
for more designs and new listings.
